Teacher Appreciation: Luncheon
Book Fair and Trick Tray 1/30-2/3
Tuesday, January 31
Vocations & Careers: Guest Speakers will be talking to the students about their careers between 9:00 and 10:30 AM. They will explain why they chose these paths and how their education impacts their role as a doctor, veterinarian, caterer, military service, etc. At 10:30 AM Monsignor Wm. Baver and Sr. Johnmarie Schauber will speak to all the students about their vocations.
Pizza & Workshop: How to Help Your Child Succeed in School: The principal, faculty, and parents will enjoy a light dinner together at 6 PM. Then the principal and faculty will present a number of strategies parents can use with their children to help them succeed in the classroom.
Wednesday, February 1
Student Visitors to Holy Family Manor 1:15 – 2:45 PM Grades 3 & 4 and student musicians visit the home to bring some cheer and entertainment.
100 Cards – 100 Days – 100 Prayers for our Servicemen: Students create cards to send on the 100th day of school to our servicemen for whom we have been praying daily.
Kindergarten Information Night 7-8 PM: Dr. Patricia Coughlin and Mrs. Kathy Hein, the kindergarten teacher, will present information about the early childhood curriculum. Part of the discussion will include early literacy and numeracy in the kindergarten.
Thursday, February 2
Mass 9:30 AM & Blessing of the Throats Pastors Appreciation Reception: Coffee & Baked Treats will be served to guests during a short presentation by the students and faculty. Parents, grandparents and parishioners are invited.
Friday, February 3 Tricky Tray Drawing 2 PM
*Tricky Tray and Book Fair ongoing throughout week.
