| Newsletter from our Principal |
June 7, 2010
Dear Seton Academy Families:
As I prepared to write the final newsletter of the year, my mind wandered back to the very first newsletter that I wrote back in September. I can recall mentioning how blessed i felt to be a part of a wonderful school, and now i feel as if those words don't begin to express my gratitude.
It has been an exciting year at Seton Academy. We have learned, we have worshipped and we have grown. Our students have had many opportunities this year for academic achievements both within the classroom and on some special field trips. The third, sixth, seventh and eighth graders had the sacred experience of celebrating one or more of the blessed sacraments, and our school has gained recognition both in the newspaper and on billboards.
The 2010-11 school year holds many promising additions. Our incoming kindergarten class is about filled, and our overall enrollment has increased so that it will not be necessary to have a combined class. Our school will have a classroom set of mini laptops and most classrooms will be equipped with smart boards. The mural has been completed in the computer lab and will carry over into the library during the summer.
May the Lord's love and guidance follow you throughout the summer, and I look forward to seeing all of you on Monday, August 30th.
Most sincerely, Lori L. Rutkiewicz
